Welcome to the practice of Dr Carmen Jacobs. As a practice we strive for excellent Paediatric care on a inpatient and outpatient basis. We practice evidence-based medicine and are firm advocates for children, putting our patient's best interests, safety and well being first. I am a Paediatrician associated with a multifaceted team including Neonatology, Neurodevelopment and Gastroenterology. You will feel right at home as we are all friendly, our environment is comfortable and child friendly.

I realised in my community service year that I had a passion for Paediatrics and Child Health. Working with children brings me great joy and fulfilment. The field is not always an easy one. Working with critically or terminally ill children can be difficult but I do think one is chosen for this career by a Higher Power. Seeing how resilient kids are is nothing short of AMAZING!

As a General Paediatrician I enjoy all aspects but have special interests in:

- Newborn Babies
- Premature or Low Birth Weight Babies
- Lung diseases
- Neurodevelopment and Neurology
- Paediatric skin conditions
- Childhood infections
